I’ve been traveling on plane, bus, train, ferry, river boat, lately. Airline travel, in my experience, can be a challenge in all ways. So before starting out on a 3+ week trip across the Atlantic, I called on helpers for “the perfect seating comfort”–trusting that the flight might be more bearable. I already had pre-requested an aisle seat, but it was the aisle on a 3-seat row. When everyone had boarded, what do you know? The seat (middle) next to me was vacant! Extra space to stretch!
Next time I’ll request more legroom, for sure.
